Public gardens offer a chance to escape frenetic urban life while also teaching of the importance of plants and ecological systems. This event explores recent developments in botanic garden design through the screening of a new 25-minute documentary Jardins Extraordinaires, which tells the story behind the Australian Garden in Cranbourne designed by TCL and Paul Thompson, followed by two presentations on new and alternative visions for public garden design.

TCL welcomes new director Lisa Howard

TCL (Taylor Cullity Lethlean) welcomes Lisa Howard as its fifth director, joining Kate Cullity, Perry Lethlean, Scott Adams and Damian Schultz on the leadership team of Australia’s most internationally renowned landscape architecture practice.

At just 36 years of age, Lisa is set to become the youngest female practice director currently working in the Australian landscape architecture industry (excluding sole operators and partnerships).
